For over thirty years Coghlin & Upton and its predecessors have been providing a wide range of contemporary and period military uniform parts, accoutrements, swords, accessories and exclusive, museum quality replicas to the Armed Forces, museums, historic sites, collectors, re-enactors and the theatre arts. Although most of our market is in Canada and the United States, we have the pleasure of dealing with customers from virtually everywhere in the world.

Most articles of military dress regalia and accessories originated in a time when fine, custom goods, made by skilled craftspeople, could be produced in relatively small numbers. In today’s world of mass-production such items are too complex to make cost-effectively so have gone out of production, become very expensive or are being produced in substandard design and quality. It is our endeavour to continue to provide military dress accessories and regalia, both historical and contemporary, that is reasonably priced, of good quality and correct to military and/or regimental specifications. 

We are particularly proud of our line of fine quality contemporary military swords made to our stringent specifications by one of worlds finest sword makers. Since 2000 we have been the sole supplier of contract swords to the Canadian Department of National Defence. In 2002 our swords were judged equal in quality to the famed Wilkinson product and since 2008 all sealed sample swords held by DND have been Coghlin & Upton swords.
